RS Berkeley Double French Horn FR812 - Refurbished - Case and Mouthpiece
Very nice playing Kruspe wrap Conn 8D clones, not sure if the is the 812 model???. Horn has low miles, minor bell work required on the flair. All slides are smooth and valves move nicely, I worked on the rotor bearings a bit, they were very tight and feel great now...the caps thread easily. The horn has just been detailed and rebuilt and is ready to play. The case is the original case and is in excellent condition bad, horn also comes with a mouthpiece.

Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed
Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by
NAPBIRT
)
Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour)
Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale
***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.

We do not accept returns or offer trial periods to try horns listed here on Ebay, please come to Colorado to try instruments, we'll have fun talking about horns! If you have any questions or problems with your instrument, please contact UYB first for any issues if needing to return an instrument for being not as described. Facilitate a quick return process with cordial communication, returns started without communication will take much longer to process. If your instrument is damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or instrument. The shipper will not offer any compensation unless these steps are taken.
