    Eastlake Victorian Sargent Co Brass Bronze Door Handle Back Plate 7943 BF Ornate Top and bottom
    Measures approx. 14 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" wide  the back extension of the latch is approx. 1 3/8"
    Good, pre-owned condition, we have left patina but a part of the backside has been lightly polished.  There is an extra screw stuck in the lower portion as shown, so if it is removed, there will be a hole in that area.  Some say this adds a bit of character to the piece.  The new owner can decide to leave it as is or remove the extra screw.   Either way it is a great early back plate with latch.
