CAST BRONZE ENTRY LOCK BACK PLATE 'TB' INITIALS IN CASTING! BEAUTIFUL  (15154)
Vintage, circa 1890-1920: Most uncommon, initials are TB.  Pretty sure it's not from Terry Bradshaw's house, probably not from Tom Brady's house either!  But that still leaves lots of possibilities, maybe Banker's Trust?  Board of Trade?  Your guess is as good as ours.
Large, heavy and beautiful, either bronze or brass.  Fleur di Lis at the bottom of the casting.  Measures about 14" long and about 3" wide.
The number you need if you intend to use it appears to be 3 1/4".  That looks like the distance from the center of the knob post hole up to the center of the cylinder hole.
Great decorative piece!  We have two available as the auction begins.
Great find, would certainly transform any door, especially if your initials are TB or BT!
