Antique Art Nouveau Door Knob Backplate & Lock Assembly, Bronze?

Exquisite Antique Ornately Styled Art Nouveau Bronze or Brass Door Knob and Backplate, and Lock Assembly, Architectural Salvage. This very elegant set looks to be from a stately home. I am pretty sure this is bronze as it is very heavy and the set weighs over 6 pounds. These pieces were all found together as

. This set includes a 2 door plates, set of door knobs on a spindle, and a  lock assembly. These have a great patina with a worn rustic looking finish. The door knobs are about  2 1/4" in diameter.  The matching heavy cast backplates are approx. 13" long and 2 3/4" wide, and about 4 1/2" wide where there is a T.
The lock assembly needs some restoration as you will need to have a locksmith or someone real handy retrofit this to your door and get it working with a new key. The hand turn knob will make the lock tongue come in and out but nothing
responds
when you
turn
the door knobs.
Pieces have age-related wear, scuffing, minor denting, and scratches. Selling as-is.
This old lockset takes your breath away with its awesome styling and old world feel. It and would look great put back into use!
